Fraud has come to light in the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Here on January 25, 568 couples were married. But in this a large number of brides were married without grooms. Its video has also surfaced. In which some brides are wearing the garland themselves. At present, FIR has been registered in the matter and investigation has been ordered.
Let us tell you that under the Chief Minister Mass Marriage Scheme, the government gives Rs 51 thousand. It is organized in every district. In this sequence, marriage of 568 couples was done in Ballia district. But now it has been revealed that it is a fraud. Hundreds of brides were married without grooms. Many brides put the garland around their neck with their own hands. Many Muslim brides wearing burqa also wore garlands with their own hands.
On enquiry, it was revealed that many of these girls had come for sightseeing and were lured with money and were fraudulently made to participate in the mass marriage scheme. So that the counting is done on paper and money is taken from the government treasury.
The video of the incident has surfaced. After which an uproar broke out. In this matter, BJP MLA from Bansdih Assembly Ketki Singh said that the incident is under cognizance. No culprit will be spared. This is playing with the poor. The district administration has also formed an investigation team. FIR has been ordered.
At present, the CDO said in a statement that a 20-member team is investigating. The funds received under the Chief Minister Group Marriage Scheme have been stopped immediately. So far, in the investigation of 20 characters, 8 people have been found to be fake. A case will be registered against them and recovery will be done.
