Earlier on Friday morning, the news of the death of 32-year-old model and actress Poonam Pandey had spread a sensation in the entire industry. Friends, family, servants neither knew about illness nor death

▪️12 noon: Nikita Sharma, a woman calling herself Poonam’s manager, issued a press note. In this press note it was told that Poonam is no more in this world due to cervical cancer. It was also written in this press note that we should not take cervical cancer lightly. A phone number was also written in this press note. When we called that number it turned out to be fake. The man who picked up the call is from West Bengal. He said that he has no relation with Poonam Pandey. He has received hundreds of calls since morning.

▪️After the press release, we tried to contact Poonam’s PR team again. In response, he sent a message which read, ‘We received the news of Poonam’s death early in the morning from her family. We are trying to contact his family, but there is no response from them. Till now, all that is known is that his body is in Kanpur.

Poonam’s team said – body in Kanpur, no one was found there
We contacted our reporter present in Kanpur to get information about the matter. He said that the body of any woman named Poonam Pandey has not been found in Kanpur till date. He had also reached the Regency Cancer Hospital there, but no information was received from there.

▪️3 pm: Our team in Mumbai tried to contact Poonam’s sister Shraddha, but she also did not pick up the phone.

This morning I got a call from his bodyguard Amen. He said go and see madam’s house, what happened. Mehboob said that he met Poonam on 30 January.
