Ravichandran Ashwin’s reign in Test cricket continues, becomes number-1 bowler against England

The Indian team won the second test match against England by 106 runs. India gave England a target of 399 runs to win, in response to which the England team was all out for just 292 runs. Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah performed amazingly in the match. He took a total of 9 wickets in the match and it was because of him that Team India was successful in winning the match. Ravichandran Ashwin bowled strongly in the second innings against England and he has made a big record against England.

Took three wickets in the second test

Ravichandran Ashwin was not able to take any wicket in the first innings against England. But in the second innings he made a comeback and took three wickets. With this, he has become the Indian bowler who has taken the most wickets against England in Test cricket. He has taken 97 wickets against England. Ashwin has broken the record of Bhagwat Chandrashekhar. Chandrashekhar has taken 95 wickets in his name in Test cricket against England. Now Ashwin Bhagwat has overtaken Chandrashekhar and reached the first position in terms of taking most Test wickets against England.

Ashwin missed this big record

Ravichandran Ashwin has played cricket in all three formats for the Indian team and has won many matches for Team India on his own. It is not easy for any batsman to play his balls. He has every arrow in his quiver with which he can destroy the opposing team. Ashwin has so far taken 499 wickets in test matches for India. If he had taken one more wicket against England, he would have completed 500 wickets in Test cricket, but he missed this big record. He can touch this record in the coming three test matches.
