107 year old Rambai and 65 year old daughter Santra won five medals in the National Master Athletics Championship.
Breaking the age barrier, 107 year old woman Rambai has once again proved her talent in the sports field. He has won two gold medals in the 5th National Master Athletics Championship held in Telangana. At the same time, his 65-year-old daughter Santra Devi has also won two silver and one bronze medal in three different events of the championship. Mother and daughter have brought glory to Haryana including Kadma area and Dadri district by winning five medals in the national competition.
Giving information, Santra Devi, the nurse of elderly player Rambai, said that Nani Rambai won gold in discus throw and shot put. His 100 meter race will be held on Sunday. Earlier, he had also won three gold medals in the Open Athletics Championship held in Alwar, Rajasthan. After Rajasthan, his performance continues in Telangana also.
At the same time, 65-year-old Santra Devi, younger daughter of Rambai, won a silver medal in the 1500 meter race. At the same time, he won a bronze medal in the shot put event and a silver medal in the 5 kilometer walk. This time, Santra Devi’s 40-year-old daughter Sharmila was not successful in leaving her mark in the competition. According to him, the rival players in his category were very young and due to this the competition was challenging.
