Indian origin citizen imprisoned in Singapore
A young man of Indian origin has been sentenced to five months imprisonment in Singapore. Nadesan Pillai Sockalingam Pillai, 47, is accused of forcing the victim to remove her clothes due to non-payment of loan. The loan amount is only 6000 Singapore dollars. According to media reports, Pillai had also threatened to get the victim’s head shaved. Along with Pillai, his two friends have also been accused of threatening the victim.
