In this, some information is given regarding ‘Online Trading Scam’.
Talking about scams, there are many scams going on. Scammers are targeting victims on WhatsApp and social media platforms. An advertisement message comes on the victim’s phone. In this it is said to give free trading tips class. With the help of these groups, scammers communicate with the victims and give different investment tips. They even tell victims when you should sell stocks.
After gaining the trust of the victims, he asks them to install the app. But there is no such app, rather they hack people’s mobile with its help. The biggest thing is that people are not even aware that this is a scam and a lot of their personal information is being obtained. Giving information about this, the police said, ‘The victims are made to install apps named INSECG, CHS-SES, SAAI, SEQUOIA and GOOMI. These apps are not registered under SEBI Security Board.
Police further said, ‘He starts doing stock trading for registered purposes. Because this app is designed in this way only. Fake profits are shown in digital wallets. The remaining money is deposited in the bank account. When victims try to withdraw profits, they are told that it will be possible only if it reaches Rs 50 lakh. In case of doubt, he claims the company policy.
