Uttarakhand: CM Dhami participated in the Livelihood Festival (Didi Bhuli Hath Lagal, Uttarakhand Haul Amrit Kaal) organized in Hawalbagh in Almora

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Livelihood Festival (Didi Bhuli Haath Lagal, Uttarakhand Haul Amrit Kaal) organized at Hawalbagh, Almora on Saturday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth a total of Rs 20213.60 lakh. In which schemes worth Rs 11702.67 lakh were inaugurated and the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 8510.93 lakh was laid.

The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other guests. The Chief Minister worshiped 10 girls in the form of Goddess Shakti and after receiving blessings, wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted directly with 21 women entrepreneurs in the Ruler Business Incubator. During this, President of Ujjwala Cooperative Kamla Latwal gave detailed information to the Chief Minister about the work done in the field of cooperative. She told that in the financial year 2022-23, a turnover of Rs 98 lakh was achieved, out of which they received a dividend of Rs 10 lakh 15 thousand. Happened. Bhavana Sharma, associated with Ruler Business Incubator RBI, congratulated the Chief Minister for implementing Uniform Civil Code in the entire state. He said that he has fulfilled the promise made to the public by passing UCC (Uniform Civil Code) in Uttarakhand. He called the Uniform Civil Code a milestone in the development of the country and women. He said that the Uniform Civil Code is not for any caste or religious community but for the interests of the entire state.

He said that he is feeling overwhelmed after coming to Almora, the holy land of Golju God. He congratulated and thanked the people of Almora for welcoming Almora by such a large crowd. He said that this crowd helps in energizing our resolve. The land of a few kings has preserved its cultural characteristics. Here organic agriculture, dairy development and APN have their own identity. By giving impetus to these features, a new dimension of development will begin in Almora. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, our government is moving forward on the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. Said that the double engine government is working to create a river of development in the state.

The Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand is Devbhoomi state. Here people always live happily and peacefully. The climate of this Devbhoomi will not be allowed to deteriorate. He said that whoever tries to tarnish the image of Devbhoomi will be dealt with strictly. Continuous action to remove encroachment from government land is going on in the entire state and it will continue like this. He said that anyone who obstructs government work will be dealt with strictly.

The Chief Minister distributed checks to the women doing excellent work and encouraged them. He said that this amount will increase the economy of women and will also be helpful in creating employment. During this, the Chief Minister distributed loan checks worth Rs 111 crore to women to promote entrepreneurship.

On this occasion, the announcements made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami include construction of stadium in Bhatrauj Khan, construction work of 04 rooms in Sarvadaya Inter College of Lagmra development block, irrigation pumping scheme in Tilora, construction of mini stadium near Hawalbagh development block, Gulmra of Salt. Asphalting of Gairkhet motor road and restoration work of Shukreshwar Mahadev temple in Gram Sabha Sakuni of development block Dwarahat is the remaining work.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inspected the stalls and artisan galleries set up by various departments in the ‘Matri Shakti Livelihood Mahotsav’. While observing various products manufactured by Mother Power, grinding mountain salt and preparing ghee, old memories were brought alive. The Chief Minister inspected the copper craft products, handloom products made by the local people as well as various projects made by school students on scientific principles. He said that our government is giving a new identity to local products through innovations along with the ‘One District-Two Products’ scheme. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated all the successful women entrepreneurs and said that you should keep working in the same way as you are doing and keep working to take other people forward as well.

During this, MP Ajay Tamta said that the state is achieving new achievements during the tenure of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. On behalf of the entire parliamentary constituency, he expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and congratulated the people of the state on the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code.
