Himachal Pradesh: 12.23 grams chitta recovered in Paonta Sahib, 61 boxes of illegal liquor recovered in Kolar

Sirmaur Police has cracked down on drug smuggling and illicit liquor trade. 12.23 grams of Chitta has been recovered from Imran son of Mohammad, resident of Kulhal, Vikas Nagar, Uttarakhand. The detection team had received confidential information during patrolling that a person wearing a yellow jacket was carrying a consignment of chittas on a bike (UK16A-5797).
After receiving the information, a blockade was imposed. Police recovered the consignment of drugs during the search. Investigation is also revealing that the accused smuggles chitta in Kafota and Shillai also. The accused had also come with the purpose of delivering the recovered consignment to these areas.
On the other hand, in another case, on the basis of secret information, Khaki has recovered a cache of illegal liquor from the house of Narendra Singh, son of Natha Singh in Kolar. Apart from country and English liquor, 61 cases of beer have been recovered from the house of the 59-year-old accused. 31 boxes of country liquor were found in it, while there were 9 boxes of beer.
Although it cannot be said with certainty, it is being said that the recovered illegal liquor consignment may be linked to the former head of the Panchayat. It is noteworthy that some time ago the police had also recovered a cache of illegal liquor from the basement of the house of the former Panchayat Pradhan.
