Section 144 imposed in 12 districts due to farmers’ movement, internet shut down in 7, such situation on Punjab-Haryana border

Section 144 has been imposed in 12 districts of Haryana on Sunday after the farmers organizations of Punjab announced their march to Delhi. Apart from the 50 companies of paramilitary forces already sanctioned for Haryana, the Center on Sunday sent 14 more companies to Haryana. Now 64 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed in Haryana. Which includes BSF and CRPF personnel.

Despite being a holiday on Sunday, Director General of Police Shatrujit Kapoor took stock of the security arrangements by talking to the Superintendents of Police of sensitive districts in the morning itself. Meanwhile, CID has reported that farmer organizations of Punjab have started marching and will reach the Haryana border by Monday evening. Entering Haryana border on 13th February, we will march towards Delhi border.

Internet services closed till 12 midnight on 13 February
Meanwhile, the Haryana government has imposed Section 144 in the districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Fatehabad, Hisar, Sirsa, Sonipat, Jhajjar etc. Apart from this, internet services have been stopped in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa districts from 6 am on Sunday. Internet services will remain closed till 12 midnight on 13 February. After this, further orders will be issued after reviewing the situation.

Farmer organizations called for talks: On one hand, the farmers of Punjab have started marching to Haryana, while on the other hand, the central government has called the farmer organizations for talks. This meeting will be held in Chandigarh on Monday evening at 5 pm. In the letter issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in the name of Jagjit Singh Dallewal, President of United Kisan Morcha and Sarwan Singh Pandher, President of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, it has been said that at 5 pm on February 12, Mahatma Gandhi State Institute located in Sector-26, Chandigarh A meeting has been organized in Office of Public Administration Punjab. In which Central Ministers Arjun Munda, Piyush Goyal and Nityanand Rai will participate on behalf of the Central Government. In this meeting, efforts will be made to resolve the matter by talking to the farmers.
