Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary had ordered para military force from the Center to reach Haldwani

Chief Secretary Radha Raturi had on Saturday demanded four companies of para military force from the Centre. After which the para military force requested from the Center has reached Haldwani on Sunday.

The atmosphere in the city has remained very tense since the violence in Haldwani. There is peace in the city after the strictness of the administration but this peace is tense. To prevent the situation from going out of control in the city once again, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi had demanded additional para military forces from the Centre. On Sunday, the para military force requested from the Center has reached Haldwani.

Silence spread in Banbhulpura after the violence
People are slowly migrating around Malik’s garden in Banbhulpura in Haldwani. People’s houses are locked. People are taking goods from their homes. At present the situation in the area is normal and the police team is busy arresting the rioters.

Let us tell you that on February 8, the Municipal Corporation along with the administration and police team had demolished the illegal madrasa and namaz place with JCB in Malik’s garden located in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. During this violence, many vehicles including four JCB machines of the Municipal Corporation were set on fire by the miscreants. Since then there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area.
