Horrific massacre in Gaza, 50 Palestinians killed in Israeli air strike

The war continues between Israel and Hamas. Israel rejected the ceasefire proposal given by Hamas. Since then, dangerous attacks have continued on Gaza. In the latest development, at least 50 Palestinians were killed in air strikes during Israel’s hostage rescue operation. Hospital officials in the southern Gaza city of Rafah gave this information.

Two hostages were freed through air strikes

Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of Abu Yusuf al-Najjar Hospital, said on Monday that the dead included women and children. An Associated Press journalist also reported bodies being brought to the hospital. Israel’s military said it also carried out airstrikes in the area after the raid and freed two hostages held there.

There was a horrific attack in Rafa two days ago

Just two days earlier, at least 13 people were killed in Israeli air strikes in Rafah in the Gaza Strip, just two days after the Gaza Strip pledged to increase attacks on southern Gaza City. US President Joe Biden had described Israel’s military action in Gaza as ‘unbelievable’.

America had said this on Israeli attacks

US President Joe Biden said on the Israeli attacks that he is continuously working to put pressure on Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire in the war. Biden told reporters Thursday evening after giving a statement on a special counsel’s report related to the handling of intelligence information, ‘As you know, I believe that the actions taking place in the Gaza Strip are extreme.’

Half of Gaza’s population came to Rafa

More than half of the Gaza Strip’s population has moved to Rafah, a city bordering Egypt. Much of its border is restricted and it is the main entry point for humanitarian aid. Egypt has warned that any ground action here or mass displacement across the border would undermine its 40-year-old peace treaty with Israel.

More than 12 thousand minor Palestinians have been killed so far

According to a Kuwaiti hospital, at least 13 people, including two women and five children, were killed in the attacks. More than 27,000 Palestinians were killed in four months of Israeli air and ground attacks. Israeli attacks forced most people to flee their homes. Health officials say more than 12,300 Palestinian minors have been killed in Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, the AP reports.
