Politics of Punjab and Haryana on farmers movement, sharp voices of both CMs

Due to the farmers’ movement, politics has started heating up in Punjab and Haryana. Haryana government has tightened security arrangements on the borders with Punjab. All borders have been sealed. Meanwhile, the CMs of both the states expressed their views on the movement. While Mann appealed to the Center to accept the demands of the farmers, Manohar Lal said that if the farmers come armed, they will be stopped.
Do not draw the border between Punjab and India
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has appealed to the Central Government to accept the legitimate demands of the farmers. On his social media post, he wrote that you should not create the border between India and Punjab by installing big nails and barbed wire. The central government should sit and talk with the farmers and accept their legitimate demands.
If they take away weapons, we will stop them – Manohar
Meanwhile, Haryana CM Manohar Lal said that all the borders of the state have been sealed to prevent farmers from Punjab from entering Haryana. If farmers carry weapons on tractors, we will definitely stop them.
Kharge’s support to farmers’ movement
Congress President Kharge has supported the farmers’ movement. He said that Congress stands with the farmers. Our party supported the farmers earlier also and will support them now also. He announced that if the Congress government is formed in 2024, these three agricultural laws will be repealed. They allege that the Modi government wants to eliminate farmers and corporate everything.
