The matter of dispute between District Magistrate Bhanuchandra Goswami and BDO Anirudh Singh Chauhan of Agra, the crown city of Uttar Pradesh, has gained momentum. On one hand, the police is busy searching for the BDO accused in the case. On the other hand, the BDO’s wife has written a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath making serious allegations against the DM and demanding strict action. Actually, recently there was a dispute in the meeting between Agra DM Bhanuchandra Goswami and BDO Anirudh Singh Chauhan.
It is said that in a meeting organized to review development works, the DM hit the BDO by throwing a paperweight and the BDO hit him with a shoe. An FIR has been lodged by the ADO in this matter. BDO Anirudh Singh is absconding since the incident. Police is searching for them. On the other hand, now the BDO’s wife has written a letter to CM Yogi and made serious allegations against the DM. Also demanded an impartial investigation into the matter and appropriate action.
BDO’s wife first wrote a letter to the police commissioner
Deepika Singh, wife of BDO Anirudh Singh Chauhan, has told in the complaint sent to CM Yogi that she had earlier sent a complaint against the DM to CP i.e. Police Commissioner J Ravinder Goud. In this, Deepika Singh had demanded to register a case against the DM, but since it was a district case, the police did not give her justice. He said that the working style of DM is very objectionable. He can go to any extent by misusing his position. Unless the DM is transferred to some other district. The investigation will not be fair. Also, the truth will not be revealed in this incident.
Deepika Singh, wife of BDO Anirudh Singh, has written in the complaint sent to the CM, “His entire family is in panic after the incident. The DM’s working style is extremely objectionable and malicious. He can misuse his position to any extent. The BDO’s wife has also alleged that the DM demands money from her husband. Apart from this, after the case was registered against the BDO, anger has started spreading among all the people including the district heads, BDC and Zilla Panchayat members. Media reports If we believe, all the organizations including Village Head, BDC, District Panchayat members, Village Development, Panchayat Raj are preparing to agitate against the DM.
CDO relieves BDO
After allegations of indecency and scuffle with the DM in the meeting, the CDO relieved the BDO and attached him to the Rural Development Commissioner’s office. With this, Devendra Singh has been made the new BDO of Barauli Ahir. Rakabganj police station is conducting raids in search of BDO. Anirudh Singh Chauhan’s mobile is switched off for 36 hours.
Police are searching for CCTV or video footage of the incident that took place in the meeting. On the other hand, any officer or employee is refraining from commenting on this matter. The officials present during the incident have also maintained silence on this matter.
