Uttarakhand: Police arrested 25 miscreants in Haldwani violence case

Nainital Police has got a big success in the violence that took place in Banbhulpura of Haldwani. Police have arrested 25 miscreants. Along with this, the police have also recovered seven pistols, 54 live cartridges and 99 live cartridges looted from the police station from the possession of the accused.

25 miscreants arrested in Haldwani violence case

Three cases have been registered in connection with the violent incident of stone pelting, arson and firing by miscreants on police, administration, municipal corporation and media personnel during removal of encroachment in Banbhulpura area. SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena said that he formed several teams to identify and arrest the miscreants. After which 25 miscreants have been arrested in this case.

They were arrested

  1. Mo. One pistol and eight live cartridges were recovered from the possession of Nizam son Aslam resident of Indranagar.
  2. One pistol and six live cartridges from the possession of Mehboob alias Maku, son of Mukhtar Ahmed, resident of Gafoor Basti, Banbhulpura.
  3. One pistol and 10 live cartridges from the possession of Shahzad alias Kanakada son of Dilshad, resident of Indranagar.
  4. Abdul Majid son of Abdul Khalid resident of New Basti Thokar near old eagle house.
  5. Shajid son of Abdul Khalid resident of Basti Thokar near old eagle house, age 49 years.
  6. Mo. Naeem son Mohd. Resident of Faim, Basti Thokar, near old eagle house, age 25 years.
  7. Shahnawaz, son of Jumma, resident of Nainital Public School, Chhoti Road, Banbhulpura, aged 28 years, in possession of one pistol and seven live cartridges.
  8. Shakir Ahmed, son of Shabbir Ahmed, resident of Mohammadi Chowk, Pappu’s Garden, Saklani Gali, age 38 years.
  9. Ishrar Ali son of Azgar Ali resident of Mohammadi Chowk, near Pappu’s garden, Saklani street, age 48 years.
  10. Shanu alias Raja, son of Mohd. Yakub, resident of Gafoor Basti, Banbhulpura.
    Raees alias Bittu, son of Anees Ahmed, resident of Spring Field School, Kidwai Nagar Banbhulpura.
  11. Gulzar Ahmed son of Sardar Ahmed resident of Gopal Mandir, Nai Basti, Banbhulpura, age 50 years.
  12. Raees Ahmed son of Abdul Hameed resident of Gopal Mandir, Nai Basti, Banbhulpura.
  13. Mo. One pistol and five live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of Farid son of Abdul Hameed, resident of Gopal Mandir, Nai Basti, Banbhulpura.

  18. Ahmed Hasan son of Mehndi Hasan resident of Malika’s garden, Banbhulpura.
  19. Shahrukh son of Mehboob resident of Malika’s garden, Banbhulpura.
  20. Arjana son of Irfan resident of Malika’s garden, Banbhulpura.
  21. Rihan s/o Ashfaq r/o Malik’s garden, near water tank.
  22. Jishan son of Hafiz Shakeel Ahmed resident of Nai Basti near Gopal Mandir, Banbhulpura.
  23. Muzammil s/o Khalil resident of Ward No. 31, Indranagar, Banbhulpura.
  24. Majid s/o Malik resident of Indranagar, Banbhulpura.
  25. Junaid son of Aslam, resident of Line No. 17, Banbhulpura, one pistol and 12 live cartridges in his possession.
