Uttarakhand: The first woman Chief Justice of the High Court took charge, know what Ritu Bahri said

A full court reference was organized in the High Court on Monday in honor of Ritu Bahri, the first woman Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court. Just a week ago, the newly appointed Chief Justice had taken oath at Dehradun Raj Bhawan.

Justice Ritu Bahri was till now the acting Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court. During the full court reference, the Chief Justice said that efforts will be made to solve the problems of the advocates and also the litigants will be provided cheap and easy justice. He said that suggestions of young advocates will also be considered. Speaking to the media, he said that ways to provide easy justice to the litigants in difficult hilly areas are being considered.

On this occasion, High Court Bar Association President DCS. Rawat said that it is an era of women empowerment in the state. Along with being the first woman Chief Secretary in the state, Matri Shakti holds many important posts including the Assembly Speaker. Said that the self-confidence of the mother power has been strengthened by the appointment of a woman as the Chief Justice of the High Court. Before this, senior judge Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari and Advocate General SN Babulkar read out the certificate of welcome to the Chief Justice.
