250 party representatives from the state will participate in the National Council meeting of BJP to be held in Delhi. The strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be discussed by the central leadership in the meeting. While talking to the media at his residence in Yamuna Colony, State President Mahendra Bhatt said that the strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be discussed by the central leadership in the meeting to be held on 17-18 February. During this time, guidance will be received from senior party leaders including PM Narendra Modi, National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah. All states will work to implement the strategy decided in the council up to the booth level. Also, detailed information will be shared among the officials and workers from the state to the district, division, booth and Panna units. In this two-day meeting, there will be a meeting of the National Officers on the first day and a meeting of all the National Council members on the second day.
He said that the governments at the Center and the State have been doing excellent work and in view of this, there is tremendous enthusiasm in the party about the meeting. Referring to the latest developments in UP and Maharashtra, he said that the country is becoming opposition-less. The end of the Indi alliance in UP and today’s joining of former Maharashtra CM and senior Congress leader into BJP makes this completely clear.
Regarding the Gairsain session, Bhatt clarified that the session is regarding the supplementary budget and whatever decision the Speaker and the government take will be acceptable to the BJP. The current session is not complete but the supplementary budget has to be presented. Some MLAs may have personal opinions regarding the session. But it is for the Assembly Speaker and the CM to decide where the session should be held. Therefore, wherever the venue of the session is decided, BJP is fully prepared for it.
