Nitin Gadkari, who reached Uttarakhand, gave a big gift to Kumaon, laid the foundation stone of 8 national highways worth Rs 2,217 crore

Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari reached Uttarakhand on a one-day visit to Mangwalar on 13 February. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has two programs in Uttarakhand. His first program was held in Tanakpur of Kumaon division. The second program is in Haridwar district of Garhwal division.

Nitin Gadkari reached Pantnagar Airport in Udham Singh Nagar district at around 12.30 in the morning by flight, where he was warmly welcomed by Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami along with many government ministers and other BJP leaders. After this, both Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Tanakpur in the frontier district Champawat. BJP workers are very excited with Nitin Gadkari’s visit to Tanakpur.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of schemes worth about Rs 2217 crore in Tanakpur. After Tanakpur, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also has a program in Haridwar. In Haridwar, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the flyover built on Delhi-Rishikesh Highway.

CM Dhami’s address

Work is going on on many projects in the state. The progress of the ongoing development works in the state is satisfactory. Every year more than 50 lakh devotees come to Tanakpur, the abode of Maa Purnagiri. This figure will increase in the coming times. CM said that recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Adi Kailash, after which many people are coming here. Uttarakhand is very important religiously. Dev Sthan is the heritage of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand remains the same even after facing many crises. India’s respect and honor has increased under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

CM Dhami said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the temples associated with Char Dham as well as Mandirmala Mission are being renovated. Uttarakhand is getting a six-lane route to Delhi via Moradabad. CM said that before the elections, people were being tricked, but now this is changing. Before the elections, BJP had promised Uniform Civil Code, which their government has fulfilled.

CM Dhami said that all the guarantees are being fulfilled under the leadership of PM Modi. The double engine government is determined to extend the benefits of the schemes to everyone. The BJP government at the Center is approving all those policies which Uttarakhand needs.

On this occasion, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that widening of Kathgodam to Nainital road with two-lane paved shoulder will improve connectivity to Manaskhand temples. With the 4-lane widening of Kashipur to Ramnagar road, it will be easier for tourists to reach Jim Corbett National Park and Manaskhand temples.

Apart from this, 2-lane widening of Kangarchina to Almora road will not only increase the number of tourists going to Bageshwar but will also save their time. 2-lane widening and rehabilitation of Kanda Marg from Udiyari Band on National Highway 309A will facilitate access to Bagnath and Baijnath temples in Bageshwar. Also, the difficult journey from Bageshwar to Pithoragarh will be better, safer and time saving.

With the aim of creating excellent infrastructure in Uttarakhand, not only the work of roads and highways is going on, but keeping in mind the safety of the people, walls are also being constructed on the National Highway 87 extension. In Bageshwar district, repair work of two bridges on Saryu and Gomdi rivers is also being done at a cost of Rs 5 crore. These projects will not only benefit the tourists but will also make commuting easier for the local people. Besides, the local economy will also be strengthened without causing any harm to the environment.

All these programs of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari are also being linked to the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Because as the Lok Sabha elections 2024 are approaching, the tour of senior BJP leaders to Uttarakhand has started. BJP claims that this time too it will hoist the flag of victory on all the five seats of Uttarakhand.
