Uttarakhand: State Youth Congress will do Satyagraha against Agneepath Scheme, will meet families and youth of military background

Youth Congress, the youth organization of Uttarakhand Congress, will run a campaign across the state regarding the Agneepath Scheme and will warn the youth of the state. Youth Congress officials say that the Agneepath scheme is just an illusion. Due to this the dreams of the youth have been broken.
Youth Congress state president Sumittar Bhullar says that today joining the army has become the last option for the youth. He said that the Central Government has pushed the future of more than 1.5 lakh youth into darkness in the name of Agneepath Scheme. These youth were selected for recruitment in the army even before the Agneepath scheme was introduced. But meanwhile the government brought the Agneepath scheme and these youth could not fulfill their dream. The government has not given him the joining letter till date.
Giving detailed information, Bhullar said that about 1.5 lakh youth already selected for recruitment in the armed forces between 2019 to 2022 were denied joining. These included 7 thousand Air Force youth, who had completed all their procedures and were only waiting for the joining letter. These recruitments were canceled under the Agneepath scheme, which also included about 2,500 nursing assistants of the Nursing Assistance Army (Medical Corps), who were waiting for joining letters after recruitment. Around 97 recruitments done in the Army between 2019 and 2021 were also cancelled, due to which the fees of around Rs 100 crore collected from the youth also remained unanswered.
Sumittar Bhullar said that in ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi has met the youth who are waiting for their recruitment. Against the injustice of the Central Government, Rahul Gandhi has started the ‘War of Justice’ movement against ‘Jai Jawan injustice’ from the soil of Bihar on 31 January.
Youth Congress state in-charge Shivi Chauhan has also attacked the government regarding the Agneepath scheme. He said that Rahul Gandhi has started the Jai Jawan movement from the soil of Bihar. While talking to these youth, Rahul Gandhi has promised that we will raise this issue from the streets to the Parliament. State in-charge of Youth Congress announced ‘Nyay Ka Yudh’ campaign against ‘Jai Jawan Injustice’ launched under Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. For this, Naveen Ramola in Garhwal and Bhuvan Choubey in Kumaon have been made coordinators.
Shivi Chauhan says that the Youth Congress will establish dialogue with the youth preparing for the army, families with military background and common people and will get the Nyaya Patra signed. Apart from this, Satyagraha will be taken out in the month of March and Padyatras will be taken out from 17th March to 20th March. He said that the youth are getting disillusioned with the Agneepath scheme. This is the reason why today the interest in joining the army is decreasing.
