This artist is going to marry an AI-created hologram, the first hybrid couple in human history

Actually, Spain based performing artist, Alicia Framis is all set to marry an AI-Generated Hologram. Framis’s future husband is a digital unit created with holographic technology and machine learning.
Framis is going to become the first woman to marry an AI-generated digital unit. Framis has already booked the venue for her wedding and is now even designing her wedding dress.
According to Framis, the name of her future husband is AILex, which was created with the help of the profiles of her previous partners.
Hybrid Couple Project
Framis’s marriage is not a romantic one, but part of her new project called Hybrid Couple, in which she wants to experiment with the boundaries of love, intimacy and identity in the age of AI.
According to Framis, ‘I wanted to make an artistic documentary that would include drawings, interviews with other women, sketches about the body, romantic dreams, domestic situations and my partner’s daily life. I want to know how to include holograms in my daily life.
Shared many photos with holographic partner
On her Instagram account, Framis shared a series of pictures in which she is seen indulging in daily activities like cooking and dining with her holographic partner. Framis will marry AILEx in Rotterdam in the summer of 2024.
Citing a personal experience, Framis says, ‘My friend is a widow and it is very difficult for any other person to replace her husband. AI and human companions can be a good option for those who need companionship.
