At the same time, Armenia has purchased anti-drone system from friend India to deal with these deadly drones of Turkey.
Azerbaijan’s President Aliyev himself witnessed the flight of the Bayraktar Akinci drone. Turkish President Erdogan’s son-in-law and CTO of Bayraktar Drone Company, Celuk Bayraktar, has posted a picture of the drone to be given to Azerbaijan on Twitter. Apart from this drone, Aliyev also saw several air-launched weapons. This includes normal bomb, laser guided bomb and cruise missile. Apart from this, 10 more weapons have been displayed. Armenian soldiers died on 13 February. This incident of violence has happened for the first time after the treaty signed last year. This Turkish Akinci drone is quite powerful and Azerbaijan has purchased it very secretly. Earlier in the year 2022, during the battle of Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijan had extensively used Turkish TB-2 drones. Due to this, Armenia was defeated. Meanwhile, Armenia has also geared up to deal with Azerbaijan and has purchased drone killer system from India.
According to the report of EuroAsian Times, Armenia purchased the Jane anti-drone system made in India. It is believed that Armenia has purchased drones from India only to deal with these Turkish drones. The Indian Air Force also purchased this anti-drone system in the year 2021. The Indian Air Force has purchased this system for Rs 2 billion and it will be inducted into the Indian Air Force in March 2024. Earlier, Armenia had purchased Pinaka rocket system from India which has the capability to cause devastation in Azerbaijan. Armenia is purchasing many weapons including cannons from India and France so that it can deal with the threats from Azerbaijan.
