Uttarakhand: Excise policy approved, assembly session to be held in Doon…, these important decisions of Dhami cabinet

The state cabinet meeting was held in the Assembly on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Private security agency rules were approved in the meeting. Apart from this, a decision was also taken to separate the Security Agency from the Dress Police Army.

It was decided in the meeting that the assembly session would be held in Dehradun only. The right to decide on dates was given to the CM. Summer session will be held in Gairsain. The excise policy has been approved. The target of Rs 4000 crore was increased to Rs 4400 crore.

These decisions were taken

  • Arrangement for medical reimbursement claims. Those separated from the Golden Card will receive reimbursement.
  • Under Vision Letter 2022, meritorious students of the state, who get admission in top 50 universities, will get Rs 50 thousand. Admission to 100 students in top 50 institutes of NIRF.
  • The runway of Pantnagar airstrip was extended by 3000 metres. A 7 km long stretch of the National Highway is to be re-surveyed.
  • NH land will come in the airport. 103 acres of land will be given. NH has asked for it. Approval was given by the cabinet.
  • 21 new posts created in Language Institute.
  • Partial modification in the organizational structure of Setu. Qualification for posts and recruitment also from open market.
  • Medical Health: Amendment in the structure of X-ray Technician cadre. Will be able to get promotion.
  • Those taking admission in ITI will get uniform. Money will go into the account like that of the education department.
  • Three hectares of forest land on 30 years lease to Yogda Ashram Society of India, Dwarahat in Almora. It will pass from here and go to the centre.
  • Pithoragarh’s air service started under RCS scheme, UDAN, similarly Uttarakhand Air Connectivity Scheme UACS was brought. Air connectivity to any city or town of another state will be easy.
  • A committee will be formed, which will take decisions on fares and connectivity. PSUs will get direct work. Apart from this, other agencies can give opportunity for 12 months under the pilot project. Theoretical plan of the cabinet.
  • Creation of 82 posts in eight government AYUSH hospitals
