Uttarakhand: Major revelations revealed in the investigation of Pulkit Arya’s Vanantra Resort in Ankita murder case

The doubt that was there regarding the purchase of land in Vanantra Resort by Pulkit Arya, the main accused in the Ankita murder case, has now been removed. In the police investigation, the property has been declared legal and not illegal. At the same time, the police say that it is not possible to confiscate the property, because in the investigation by SDM Yamkeshwar, the administration has found Pulkit Arya’s purchase of 0.334 hectare land in Gangabhogpur to be correct.
DM Pauri Dr. Ashish Chauhan has sent its report to the police. In the report, the reason for acquiring the property was not clarified in the police investigation and the investigation by SDM Yamkeshwar found that the purchase of land was correct and said that it is not possible to confiscate this property. At the same time, after the report of the district administration, in-charge SSP Pauri Jaya Baloni again handed over the investigation to Kotwal Kotdwar to clarify the reasons for acquiring the property.
On February 6, 2023, the police had recommended confiscation of Pulkit Arya’s property worth Rs. 3.5 crore in Haridwar and Pauri. Police investigation revealed that the main accused had acquired illegal assets worth Rs 2.82 crore by forming a gang. The police had told the Haridwar and Pauri district administration that a case was registered against the main accused in the Ankita murder case, including others, at Lakshmanjhula police station under Gangster section on October 29, 2022.
