Rizwan did match fixing, banned for 17 years
British cricketer is in big trouble due to match fixing attempts. The name of this player is Rizwan Javed who plays club cricket in Britain. Rizwan Javed tried to fix many matches in the Abu Dhabi T10 League and ICC has taken serious action on this matter. ICC has banned this player for 17 and a half years. International Cricket Council’s Integrity General Manager Alex Marshall issued a statement saying that Rizwan was continuously trying to implicate Javed in involving professional cricketers in corruption. For this reason such a big ban was imposed on it.

Alex Marshall further said that this ban should send a strong message to people trying to target cricket at any level. The ICC will deal sternly with any attempt to corrupt cricket. Let us tell you that Abu Dhabi T10 League was started by Emirates Cricket Board in 2017.

Bangladesh all-rounder Nasir Hussain has also been accused of this and has been banned for two years. After this, a ban was imposed on him which will start from 19 September 2023. Meaning this player will not be able to play cricket anywhere before 2041.
