Ishan Kishan ignored Jai Shah’s warning, trouble will increase for Chahar and Iyer

The troubles of India’s star wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan are going to increase further. Ishan Kishan has ignored the warning of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Ishan Kishan did not even take part in the last match played by Jharkhand in Ranji Trophy. BCCI had instructed those players who are not on national duty to play Ranji Trophy. Apart from Ishan Kishan, Deepak Chahar and Shreyas Iyer also did not follow the instructions of BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
Actually, this whole controversy started with Ishan Kishan. Ishan Kishan took a break from cricket during the South Africa tour last year citing mental health. After this, Ishan Kishan was not given a place in the series against Afghanistan and England. When the team management was asked about Ishan Kishan’s unavailability, coach Rahul Dravid made it clear that Kishan needs to play domestic cricket to make a comeback. But Kishan kept himself away from Ranji Trophy and was not selected even in the last three matches of the Test series being played against England.
BCCI can take action
Seeing this entire controversy, BCCI made it clear that from now on Team India players cannot ignore Ranji Trophy. BCCI also warned the players of taking action if they do not play Ranji Trophy. Despite this, Kishan did not come on the field to play the last match. Deepak Chahar also did not play a single Ranji match this season. After being out of Team India, Shreyas Iyer was expected to play Ranji Trophy for Mumbai. But Iyer also maintained distance from the field. All these players are being accused of giving importance to IPL instead of domestic cricket.
