Ravindra Jadeja equaled the great Kapil Dev, created a blast against England, wreaked havoc with the ball too

The Indian cricket team has performed strongly against England in the test match which started on Thursday (15 February). After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Team India moved towards a big score thanks to the centuries of captain Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. In this match against England, the Indian all-rounder scored a difficult century and secured a place in a special club.

The third match of the 5-match Test series between India and England is being played in Rajkot. In this match, Indian captain Rohit Sharma had decided to bat after winning the toss. The team had lost three wickets for just 33 runs but after coming here Ravindra Jadeja played an inning which changed the map of the match. Along with the captain, he made a comeback for the Indian team by making a partnership of 204 runs.

Jadeja equaled Kapil Dev

Ravindra Jadeja played a very strong innings against England in difficult times. Along with playing a century in the Rajkot Test, he also achieved the feat of scoring 1000 runs with 50 or more wickets in a Test against any one team. Till now only two all-rounders of India had been able to do this. Veteran Kapil Dev had done such wonders against three countries. Along with taking more than 50 wickets, he also scored a thousand Test runs against Pakistan, England and West Indies.

R Ashwin was the second Indian all-rounder to be included in this list. He had achieved this feat against England only. Now Ravindra Jadeja has also done the wonders of scoring a thousand runs with more than 50 wickets in the Test against England. Jadeja has scored 1000 runs against England after playing 18 Tests and has also taken a total of 56 wickets.
