Uttarakhand: Congress angry over bank account freeze, demonstrated outside Income Tax Department

Last two days ago the Income Tax Department gave a big blow to the Congress. The Income Tax Department had frozen four bank accounts of Congress. After which Congress gave this information in a press conference. Congress said that after the accounts are frozen, they do not have money to do any kind of activity. Congress described freezing of accounts as a major attack on democracy. In protest against which Congress workers protested across the country. Even in Uttarakhand, Congress workers took to the streets and raised a hue and cry against the central government.
Congress workers demonstrated outside the Income Tax Department office in Haridwar. During this, Congress workers accused the BJP government of forcibly freezing bank accounts. Congress workers said that the BJP government has embarked on a repressive policy, that is why it wants to suppress the voice of the opposition by freezing the bank accounts of the national level party. He warned that Congress workers are not afraid of these actions of BJP. If BJP tries to suppress the voice of the opposition, there will be fierce opposition.
During this, Haridwar Metropolitan President Aman Garg said that Modi government is scared of Congress. In the election frenzy, the BJP government has frozen the bank accounts of the Congress. The reality of BJP has now started coming in front of the public. He is doing such acts due to nervousness. He said that Congress is a party run by heart and not by money. Aman Garg said that Congress is working on the streets to show the truth of BJP to the common people.

He said that the election process has almost started in the country, freezing the accounts at such a time shows that the Modi government has frozen the accounts to stop the election work. Harish Rawat said that the central government is continuously targeting the opposition parties. He said that freezing the accounts of a political party is unfortunate.
Harish Rawat said that the Central Government also wants to end the legislative activities of Congress. He has called it a hasty decision taken by the Central Government. Harish Rawat said that the accounts of Congress and the party were not going anywhere, in such a situation the government could have waited for two months, if the central government had noticed any shortcomings then action could have been taken even after the elections. Harish Rawat said that today democratic forces across the country are expressing their anger against this.
