Truth and Reality

Another list of SP came amidst Rahul’s visit, why is Akhilesh increasing the tension of Congress in UP?

Only a few days are left for Lok Sabha elections 2024. Nothing has been finalized yet regarding seat sharing between Indian Alliance parties Congress and SP. While Rahul Gandhi has reached Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in UP, SP President Akhilesh Yadav is continuously declaring the names of the candidates. On Monday, Akhilesh Yadav announced the names of 11 more Lok Sabha candidates. Before that, names of 16 candidates were declared, which included the names of Dimple Yadav, Akshay and Dharmendra Yadav. Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has reached UP, but SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who is part of the India Alliance, is maintaining distance from the Nyay Yatra. In a statement on Monday, Akhilesh Yadav has also made it clear that he will not participate in Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra until the matter regarding seat sharing in UP is resolved.

Letter written to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge

India alliance was formed to stop BJP, but gradually its members are moving away. The first Indian alliance in UP was Congress, SP and its allies Apna Dal Kamerawadi, RLD, in which RLD President Jayant Chaudhary has left Akhilesh Yadav. Now only Congress, SP and its ally Apna Dal Kamerawadi are left in UP. On Monday, Akhilesh Yadav wrote a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and offered 17 seats. However, no response has come from Congress yet.

SP President clarified seat distribution first

On Monday, when Akhilesh Yadav was asked about his participation in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra, he said that he will not join Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra until the seat distribution in UP is finalized. . He said that several rounds of talks have taken place, but till now nothing has been finalized regarding seat sharing. At the same time, SP is increasing the tension of Congress by continuously fielding its candidates.

Akhilesh is in no mood to compromise this time

So far, SP has fielded 27 candidates on 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. Considering the 17 seats that Akhilesh Yadav has offered for Congress, the SP President can declare the next list soon. This is the reason why Akhilesh Yadav is not waiting for the reply from Congress. Akhilesh Yadav has made up his mind that the Congress party has to give only 17 seats, so why delay the announcement of its candidates? Akhilesh Yadav definitely talks about taking Congress along, but if Congress demands more than the offer given by him, then the paths of India alliance may also diverge. Somewhere in Akhilesh Yadav’s mind, there must be 2019 Lok Sabha elections, in which Akhilesh Yadav compromised and gave more seats to Mayawati and SP had to bear the brunt of it.

So far, the candidate Lok Sabha seat was announced by the SP
