Sudden retirement of Team India’s batsman, said- Virat and Rohit Sharma also did not score runs, why only I was removed from the team
Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwari, who played for the Indian team under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has said goodbye to cricket. After this season of Ranji Trophy, the glory of the Bengal captain will no longer be seen. With a big win of innings and 204 runs for the team against Bihar, Manoj Tiwari announced his retirement from all formats. Even after saying goodbye to cricket, he has created a stir with his interview.
Manoj Tiwari replied when asked about international career. He said that he would like to question the then captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as to why he was dropped from the team even after scoring a century. He played an unbeaten inning of 104 runs against West Indies in Chennai. Manoj Tiwari was chosen player of the match in this match. He was dropped from the three-match series against Zimbabwe after only 6 matches.
Manoj said, “Whenever I get a chance, I would definitely like to hear this from Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I would definitely like to ask him this question, although I want to ask him this casually.”
He said, “I also have to ask Mahendra Singh Dhoni why I was dropped from the last team after scoring runs and scoring that century. Especially that tour of Australia on which no player had scored runs. Be it Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma or Suresh Raina, no runs were scored from anyone’s bat. Now I have nothing to lose.”
