Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected American claims and said that Russia has no intention of installing nuclear weapons in space. According to news agency AP, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia has no intention of deploying nuclear weapons in space. Russia has developed space capabilities equal only to America.
Putin’s statement came at a time when last week the White House confirmed media reports saying that Russia has developed weapons to defuse or destroy satellites in space. This Russian weapon is disturbing.

“Our stand is absolutely clear,” President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. We have always been and will always be openly opposed to the deployment of nuclear weapons in space. We also urge all countries to follow all the agreements made regarding this area (space).
