Uttarakhand: Case registered against wife of mastermind of Haldwani violence, she was misleading the administration

Case registered against mastermind’s wife
Giving information, Chief Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay said that an attempt was made by Abdul Malik and his wife to conspire and destroy more than 13 bighas of government land. He said that after examining the documents, it has also been revealed that the administration and the court have been misled by making an affidavit in the name of a person who died in 1988.
Accusation of destroying government land
Chief Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay said that the person who died in 1988 was shown alive in 1994 and 2007. Apart from this, many more facts have come to light in the examination of records. Therefore, now the Assistant Municipal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation has registered a case in Haldwani Kotwali against six people including Abdul Malik, Safia Malik for conspiracy and desecration of government land.
Investigation into the case continues
According to the information regarding the matter, Nainital SSP Prahlad Narayan Meena said that on the basis of the complaint of the Assistant Municipal Commissioner, a case has been registered against six people including Abdul Malik and his wife Safia Malik. The case is being investigated.
