Madhya Pradesh: Hand grenade found in RSS office, upon investigation it turned out to be a police hand grenade

There was a sensation when a hand grenade was found in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office located in the heart of Bhind city of Madhya Pradesh. This hand grenade was seen in the Sangh office around 10 pm on Saturday night. There was also a pin attached to it. This hand grenade was seen at the same place in the office where the Union flag is hoisted. As soon as local MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha and Superintendent of Police Dr Asit Yadav got information about this, both of them reached the spot.

Police’s hand grenade is 30 years old

Sniffer dog was also called by the Superintendent of Police to investigate the grenade. However, the hand grenade found appeared to be very old and in dilapidated condition. It seemed as if he had been buried in the soil for years. Police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The surprising thing is that according to the facts revealed in the preliminary investigation, this hand grenade belongs to the police only and is about thirty years old.

The grenade may have come from the soil of police firing

According to the information received, the police firing range is located at some distance from Bhind. Soil was brought from near this firing range and filled in the Sangh office. In such a situation, speculations are being made that this hand grenade may have landed in this soil. But it is a matter of concern that how a live hand grenade remained in the soil and has now been found. This could also have been the cause of a major accident.

It is noteworthy that earlier in the year 2022, a threat was given to bomb the offices of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, as well as across the country. After this threat received on WhatsApp, a case was also registered in Madiyav police station of Lucknow.
