Rajasthan student has intelligence information of US Army, 5 lakh Aadhar cards, complete data of big banks also; India’s security agencies surprised

A second year BA student has been arrested for selling sensitive data of the Government of India and the private sector on the dark web. The accused told during interrogation – He wanted to become the biggest hacker, he was selling this data in exchange for crypto. The police also found 4500 GB storage data, 5 lakh Aadhar cards, citizen data of India and sensitive military data of 4 countries.
The incident took place late Saturday night in Srikaranpur, Sriganganagar. The team formed under the direction of Srikaranpur CO Sudha Palawat made this disclosure. The interrogation of the accused is ongoing. The team of Intelligence Bureau and Srikaranpur Police from Delhi raided village 49F on Saturday and arrested a youth. Agencies are investigating the laptop and other items found from the accused. The information received from them is quite shocking.
Reached dark web through online gaming
Initial interrogation of the police revealed – Amit son is a resident of Nasibchand village 49F. His father works in Dubai. He runs this network from home. He is a cyber threat actor and is active on multiple platforms and Telegram channels of the dark web. He came in contact with the dark web and deep web during online gaming.
Gradually he became so expert in surfing that he started stealing online data and selling it through Telegram channel. He was running a Telegram channel when the police arrested him. He has uploaded obscene material on this channel. He is also the administrator of this channel. The accused used to play video games since 2018. Gradually I went into the depths of the Internet (Deep Web) from the laptop in my room at home.
Said during interrogation- I wish to become the biggest hacker
During interrogation, he revealed that about 5 lakh Aadhar cards, Army and about 4500 GB data of various countries were obtained through the dark web. Through this, till now it has been detected that he has made transactions worth about Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand.
Three mobile phones, one laptop, one computer, two pen drives, five hard disks and some other items have been recovered from the accused. Now the National Security Agency and the police will together analyze it. Rs 23 thousand 700 cash has been recovered from the accused. Various agencies including the police are currently interrogating the accused.
When the IB noticed such a large storage and continuous use of the Internet, even the police did not have enough equipment to recover the storage. There is a suspicion that he was selling all the data to the enemy country. There could have been a big threat to security. The accused told that his desire is to become the biggest hacker. The devices recovered from the accused include 5 hard disks, 4 SSD, 2 pen drives, 3 mobiles, desktop top, laptop with 4500 GB data.
US Army data also found
The accused was stealing and selling online data related to the central government on Telegram through mobile phones and laptops. When the cyber cell noticed this, they searched the data. During the cyber investigation, when the data of Aadhaar card data, PAN card data, Indian Mahendra Kotak Bank, HDFC Bank, USA Citizen, Ukraine, Manipur Police, US Army etc. related to Government of India was found on the desktop, the police investigated and the accused was arrested. .
Learned how to use dark web from YouTube
During interrogation, the accused told that he was addicted to online gaming. With this he started entering the world of internet. The accused became addicted to the internet and started searching on YouTube and other apps all day long. During this time, he started searching dark web and deep web on YouTube. He would continuously learn from YouTube and then apply it on the dark web.
The accused used to purchase data from the dark web only. After this he used to sell it through his Telegram group. Complete data analysis will be done in at least three to four months. Efforts are on to trace the data sold on the accused’s Telegram channels and the buyers.

The accused had created a channel on Telegram. He used to sell data through these-
