PM Meets 4 astronauts from India, will travel to space through Gaganyaan Mission

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, introduced the country to the four selected astronauts. These heroes of the Indian Air Force have been selected to go to space. The special thing is that after examining many candidates, the list of the last four candidates was prepared.
PM Modi called these astronauts on the stage and introduced them to the world. The names of the passengers preparing to go to space through Gaganyaan are Group Captain Prashant Balkrishna Nair, Group Captain Ajit Krishnan, Group Captain Angad Pratap and Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla. It is being said that these brave men of the Air Force know about all types of fighter jets.
List of names from 12 to 4
According to media reports, out of the test pilots who showed interest in the Gaganyaan mission, there were only 12 who could pass the first phase of selection. It was organized in the year 2019 at the Institute of Aerospace Medicine working under the Indian Air Force i.e. IAF in Bengaluru. After several rounds of selection process, IAM had approved four names.
There are reports that in the year 2020, four people were also sent by ISRO to Russia for initial training. This training ended in the year 2021. It is being said that it took time to complete the training due to Covid-19.
