BJP sent names of 55 contenders from Uttarakhand, fight to be held for 5 Lok Sabha seats!

There are 5 Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand. BJP has been winning all five seats for two consecutive times. This time BJP is preparing to score a hat-trick. Along with this, the tussle is also going on regarding the selection of candidates. In this series, BJP State Election Steering Committee has today sent the names of 55 contenders for all the 5 Lok Sabha seats to the central leadership. In such a situation, the top leadership will approve 5 names.

BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the names of Lok Sabha election candidates were discussed in detail between Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami, state in-charge Dushyant Gautam and members of the election steering committee. During this, reports of party observers sent regarding potential candidates for all Lok Sabha seats were presented. In which the names to be sent to the center were finalized after discussing the opinion of local workers, social balance and strategic point of view.

Mahendra Bhatt said that the panel of minimum 5 and maximum 9 names for Lok Sabha seats has been finalized. In this way, 55 names on all five seats of Uttarakhand are being sent to the central leadership of the party. He expressed hope that soon the Central Parliamentary Board of the party will consider these names and announce the Lok Sabha candidates.

Resolve to win continuously with new records

The first meeting of the state election management was held at the BJP state headquarters. In which the election strategy was discussed in detail with the heads and co-heads of all 38 departments of the committee in the presence of National General Secretary and State Election Incharge Dushyant Gautam. During this, state election in-charge Dushyant Gautam said that first the elections will be fought to create identity, then to come second and then to win.

In this way continuous victories will be achieved with new records. At the same time, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that the target of winning all the Lok Sabha seats by more than 5 lakh votes has to be achieved. The booths in the hilly areas should get at least 10 percent more votes than the previous elections and the booths in the plains should get 370 more votes than before as per Article 370. Focus is being placed on this.
