The French Prime Minister, EU diplomats and US senators have also condemned the firing on people waiting for food. Despite this, Benjamin Netanyahu, while talking to the media on Thursday evening, said that “There is a lot of international pressure on him. “But he will not stop the war until Israel achieves its objectives in Gaza.”
Emmanuel Macron expressed anger
After the news of the firing, the French Prime Minister gave his reaction on X (X), saying, “There is deep anger over the pictures coming from Gaza where Israeli soldiers have targeted civilians. All citizens must be protected.” Emmanuel Macron also said that there should be a ceasefire soon to provide humanitarian aid.
Firing ‘unacceptable’ – EU
Josep Borrell, the European Union’s top foreign policy chief, said depriving people of food is a serious violation of international humanitarian law. “These deaths are completely unacceptable… aid must reach Gaza without any hindrance,” Josep wrote on Twitter.
