Gold and silver in futures trading
On Friday, the price of gold fell by Rs 60 to Rs 62,507 per 10 grams in futures trade. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 60, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 62,507 per 10 grams with a turnover of 13,304 lots. In futures trade on Friday, the price of silver increased by Rs 27 to Rs 69,692 per kg. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for March delivery rose Rs 27, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 69,692 per kg in 480 lots.
