Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has sent a legal notice to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh asking them to apologize for misleading people by distorting their statements.
Gadkari’s lawyer Balendu Shekhar said his client was shocked to know, hear and see the content and posts from the official handle of Congress on microblogging platform X.
The contextual intent and meaning of the interview words were concealed
Kharge and Ramesh deliberately posted a 19-second video clip of Gadkari’s interview to a news portal, hiding the relevant intent and meaning of his words, the lawyer said.

The notice said that a heinous act has been committed with the sole intention and ulterior motive of creating confusion, sensation and defamation of Gadkari in the eyes of the public.
