Uttarakhand got 27 deputy jailers, 285 prisoner guards also appointed, CM Dhami distributed appointment letters
Today Uttarakhand got many officers and prisoner guards for jail security. CM Dhami on Saturday distributed appointment letters to 27 deputy jailers and 285 prisoner guards selected by the Public Service Commission under the Prison Administration and Correctional Services Department at the Chief Minister’s residence complex. Today, appointment letters were given to a total of 312 candidates. Soon more people will also be given appointment letters.
During this, CM Dhami said that all these people will create a good environment for the prisoners and jails in Uttarakhand with their service. Dhami congratulated the newly appointed candidates. He said that today is a very happy day for all of you, because after hard work and hard work you have reached this position. He said that you should set rules for yourself from the very first day that whatever responsibility has been given to you as per the post, you will discharge it with full responsibility.
Let us tell you that there is a capacity of 3741 prisoners in 11 districts of Uttarakhand. More than 7921 prisoners are lodged in these jails. Not only this, questions have also been raised in the jails of Uttarakhand regarding health facilities. Not only this, there are four districts in Uttarakhand where there is no jail till date. Which includes Uttarkashi, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Bageshwar districts. Prisoners from other states are also imprisoned in Uttarakhand. However, before the code of conduct in Uttarakhand, appointment letters are being distributed in the government and many departments in a similar manner. Also, vacant posts in departments are being filled.
