Uttarakhand: CM Dhami connected with expatriate Uttarakhands living across the world, appeals to adopt villages
Migrant people of Uttarakhand live all over the world. Those who are employed or in business or study. Whose number is in thousands. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami communicated with these migrant Uttarakhandis virtually from the Secretariat. During this, CM Dhami came face to face with migrant Uttarakhandis living in different countries. At the same time, CM Dhami described all the migrant Uttarakhandis as ‘brand ambassadors of Uttarakhand’ in foreign countries.
Appeal to migrants to adopt a village in a remote area
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expected all the migrant Uttarakhandis to adopt a village in a remote area of their birthplace. Also become a partner in the overall development of the village. So that the village can develop. The state government will also cooperate in this. To which many migrant Uttarakhandis agreed.
‘Pravasi Uttarakhand Board’ will be formed
CM Pushkar Dhami said that earlier a migrant cell was formed for the cooperation and assistance of migrant Uttarakhandis. To make it more convenient and equipped with facilities, ‘Pravasi Uttarakhand Board’ will also be formed.
Entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries expressed willingness to invest
CM Dhami said that entrepreneurs from more than 50 countries have expressed their desire to do industry and business by participating in the Global Investment Conference (Uttarakhand Global Investor Summit) organized in Uttarakhand. Till now grounding of ₹71 thousand crore has been done. With the establishment of industry in Uttarakhand also, more employment opportunities will be available to the youth.
Migrants belonging to different time zones
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi thanked all the migrants for joining the dialogue despite living in different time zones. He said that all the migrants should contribute to ‘Developed Uttarakhand along with Developed India’. He talked about continuing such dialogue in future also.
