Terrorists kidnapped 200 people including women and children in Nigeria, 35000 people have lost their lives so far in the violence
Terrorists have kidnapped about 200 people in northwestern Nigeria. Most of the kidnapped are women and children. The victims displaced by the violence had gone to collect wood near the border with Chad. The United Nations Office in Nigeria gave this information on Wednesday.
The number of people may increase
The terrorists surrounded the victims as they came out of the displaced persons camp in Gamboru Ngala Council area of Borneo State and took them hostage. To stop the activities, kidnappings and murders continue to occur every day in conflict-affected areas. Mohammed Fa’al, the UN human rights coordinator in Nigeria, said the actual number of people abducted was still unknown.
35000 people have lost their lives so far
It is estimated that more than 200 people have been kidnapped. Terrorists started atrocities in 2009 to enforce Islamic law in Borno. So far, 35,000 people have lost their lives and more than 20 lakh have been displaced due to the violence of the terrorist organization Boko Haram group.
