Uttarakhand: Approval of GIS Based Master Plan for 23 cities under AMRUT 2.0
Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, while chairing the State High Power Steering Committee (SHPSC) at the Secretariat, approved the GIS Based Master Plan for 23 cities under AMRUT 2.0. In addition to the 10 previously approved bodies of the second category, 13 additional bodies of the third category including Almora, Bageshwar, Gopeshwar, Tanakpur, Vikasnagar, Laksar, Srinagar, Pauri, Tehri, Bajpur, Sitarganj, Gadarpur, Uttarkashi, The action plan for Capacity Building was approved in today’s meeting. The GIS Based Master Plan sub-plan of AMRUT 2.0 is completely centrally assisted.
Secretary Dr. Ahmed Iqbal along with officials of Urban Development, Public Works Department, Drinking Water and Planning Department were present in the meeting.
