BJP National President JP Nadda may undertake a political tour of Uttarakhand after March 10. He was expected to arrive by March 9 or 10, but due to his political engagements the time could not be fixed.

It is believed that the Central Election Committee will be busy in the process of selecting candidates for the Lok Sabha elections till March 10, hence Nadda will come to Uttarakhand after finalizing the list of candidates. According to sources, the party wants the National President to visit Los before the implementation of the code of conduct for the elections.

The party has fixed three programs for Nadda in the state. The first program is to be held in Haldwani, where there will be a conference of officials up to booth level. After this, the second program will be held in Haridwar, where the election management committee meeting has been scheduled. The third program will be held in the form of enlightened class conference in Dehradun.

Candidate likely to be declared by March 10

According to sources associated with the party, BJP can declare candidates for Haridwar and Garhwal Los seats by March 10. Meanwhile, the central leadership has taken feedback from the state leadership. Besides, an agency is also assessing the strength of the claimants.

There is still trouble on Garhwal and Haridwar Lok Sabha seats

There is still a dilemma on Garhwal and Haridwar Lok Sabha seats. Candidates can be changed on both these seats. The central leadership has reposed confidence in Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah while reposing confidence in the royal family on Tehri Loss seat. However, before the announcement of the candidates, there was a lot of speculation about the ticket of Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah.

The names of many contenders were coming forward for this seat, but ultimately the party has made Mala Rajya Lakshmi its candidate for the third consecutive election. The party has again expressed confidence in Ajay Tamta on Almora-Pithoragarh Lok Sabha seat. There was a lot of speculation regarding this seat.
