Delhi: Father murdered his son during a wedding, along with three friends stabbed him 15 times, police were surprised to know the reason
A shocking news has come out from the capital Delhi. Here, a night before his son’s marriage, the father killed him. This incident took place in Deoli area of Delhi. The father absconded after committing the incident. Police caught him from Jaipur on Thursday night. The name of the deceased youth is Gaurav Singhal. He used to run a gym in Delhi. Gaurav was stabbed 15 times.
According to Delhi Police, information about the murder was received from Raju Park in Devli Extension at around 12:30 midnight on March 7. Immediately after the information, Tigri police station and PCR van reached the spot. During this, the police came to know that a 29 year old youth named Gaurav Singhal had been attacked with a knife. The family has taken him to Max Hospital. After this, when the police team reached the hospital, it was found that Gaurav had already died before reaching the hospital.
After this, when the police investigated the spot, there was blood scattered there. It seemed as if Gaurav’s body had been dragged after being stabbed. Perhaps the reason for this was that the murderer did not want Gaurav’s body to be handed over to his family members immediately. Gaurav Singhal was married recently. At the time of the incident, the family members were attending a wedding related function in the adjacent house. There was dancing and music going on. Police suspect that during that time, the father along with three people murdered his son Gaurav inside the house.
What did the DCP of Southern District say about the incident?
DCP Ankit Chauhan of Southern District says that Gaurav’s father Ranglal Singhal had taken jewelery worth Rs 50 lakh and Rs 15 lakh in cash while running away from home. Police are investigating the case from every angle. Police suspect that he had a fight with his son Gaurav over some issue. During this time, Gaurav had slapped his father Ranglal, after which Ranglal along with his three associates killed Gaurav and fled from the house with cash and jewellery.
Gaurav Singhal wanted to marry as per his choice
Police say that another angle has come to light in this incident. Gaurav Singhal did not want to marry. He wanted to marry another girl, but he was getting married due to pressure from his family. There used to be frequent fights between father and son on this issue.
