Uttarakhand: CM Dhami wished the people of the state on International Women’s Day and Mahashivratri

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that without the support of mother power, there cannot be complete development of any society or nation. In India, women have been worshiped as a source of power since time immemorial; women are not only a guide to the society but also a source of inspiration.
While congratulating the people of the state especially on mother power on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister said that women power is the power of the nation. In our scriptures, it has been said in respect of women that Yatra Naryastu Pujyante, Ramante Tatra Devta i.e. where women are worshipped, there reside the gods. Effective efforts are being made by the state government to improve the present of women for a better future.
The Chief Minister said that March 8 is dedicated to the name of half the world’s population. This day is important for a large section of the society without which the imagination of the world remains incomplete. Our government is dedicated to the upliftment of mother power. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many schemes are being run by the government for the welfare of women. Many schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Ujjwala Yojana are being run by the Central Government. In the same direction, the state government is also running many schemes in the interests of women. He said that the state government has made a provision of 30 percent reservation for women in government jobs so that women can get equal opportunities in this state with unfavorable geographical conditions. Along with this, the state government has started schemes like Chief Minister Women Empowerment Scheme, Chief Minister Mahalakshmi Scheme, Lakhpati Didi Scheme, Chief Minister Aanchal Amrit Scheme, Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme, Chief Minister Minority Medhavi Scheme, Nanda Gaura Matrivandana Scheme and Mahila Poshan Abhiyan.
The Chief Minister said that the state government has fulfilled the promise made to the people by passing the Uniform Civil Code in the Uttarakhand Assembly. This is also a law related to respect for women. The Uniform Civil Code is not for any caste or religious community but for the interests of the entire state. Today, in the remote areas of the state, women are forming self-help groups in every village and giving impetus to the rural economy through cottage industries. Women have never had any shortage of skills and now these skills are strengthening their economy.
Chief Minister wished Mahashivratri to the people of the state
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has congratulated and congratulated the people of the state on the holy festival of Mahashivratri. In his message issued on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this holy festival is the festival of worship of Shiva and Shakti.
