Uttarakhand: Subsidy issued on Ujjwala cylinder, Modi’s gift on Mahashivratri – BJP State President

Expressing happiness over the continuation of subsidy on Ujjwala Yojana cylinders, BJP has described it as PM Modi’s gift to 10 crore families on Mahashivratri. Expressing his gratitude, State President Mahendra Bhatt said, this decision of Modi ji has brought smiles on the faces of 4.5 lakh families of the state.

He said, BJP governments are always committed to reducing the sufferings of mother power. PM Narendra Modi has done the work of drying the tears coming from the eyes of poor mothers and sisters due to the smoke of the stove through the Ujjwala Connection Scheme. Today, 10 crore families across the country are making their daily lives easier by getting free cylinders from this scheme. Modi ji not only provided free cylinders but also made arrangements to get them filled by giving a subsidy of Rs 300 per cylinder. This scheme was going to end in the month of March this year, but Modi ji has once again extended it till March 2025, worrying about the stoves and eyes of the mothers and sisters of his poor families. This step of the Center will also help in providing necessary help to 4.5 lakh Ujjwala families of Uttarakhand for the coming one year.

On this occasion, he also praised Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami and said, his government is already giving 3 cylinders free every year to Antyodaya families. In this way, with the support of both Modi ji and Dhami ji, poor families are getting double help. Especially this help has simplified the routine of the mother power who lives a mountain like life in the mountains of our state. Their dependence on forests has worked to reduce the smoke that fills their lungs and spreads into the environment.
