PM Modi reached Varanasi for the first time after becoming a candidate, did a road show

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh directly from West Bengal, which is also his parliamentary constituency, during his visit on Saturday (March 9). PM Modi did a roadshow as soon as he reached Varanasi. Its video has surfaced. The people of Varanasi welcomed him enthusiastically. This is PM Modi’s first visit to Varanasi after being declared a candidate for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. According to the schedule, PM Modi is scheduled to visit and worship at Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi.

PM Modi visits four states in one day

Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, PM Modi seems to be in complete mission mode. With his arrival in Varanasi on Saturday, this is his fourth visit to the state in a day. Earlier, PM Modi had reached Assam on Friday on a two-day visit. On Saturday, he started his tour from Assam and then reached his parliamentary constituency of Uttar Pradesh via Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal. PM Modi can visit Azamgarh on Sunday (March 10) morning.

PM Modi visits West Bengal for the third time within a month

PM Modi reached North West Bengal on Saturday. This was his third visit to West Bengal this month. He inaugurated infrastructure projects worth more than Rs 4500 crore in Siliguri and addressed a BJP rally. Through his rally, he fiercely targeted the ruling TMC government of West Bengal and the alliance of opposition parties ‘India’.

During the last two visits this month, PM Modi had reached various districts of southern West Bengal such as Hooghly, Nadia and North 24 Parganas, where TMC is considered to have a strong hold. According to news agency PTI, BJP had performed well in North West Bengal in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
