Uttarakhand: Hindu organization harassed 4 young men and women roaming in Mussoorie, police warned

Four PhD students, who had come to Mussoorie on an educational tour from Indore (Madhya Pradesh), were caught by activists of Hindu organizations on suspicion of love jihad and brought to the police post. There was a lot of uproar on both sides regarding this.

When the police spoke to the relatives of the students, they found out that all four were classmates and had gone to Mussoorie on an educational tour. After this the police released all four and warned the workers of the Hindu organization not to commit such acts in future.

This matter came to light late Friday evening under Lakhibagh police post of city police station. According to the police, two young men and two girls doing PhD from a university in Indore had reached Mussoorie on Thursday on an educational tour.

Meanwhile, in Mussoorie, someone informed the workers of Hindu organization by calling it a case related to Love Jihad. After which the workers went after the students from Mussoorie itself. On reaching Doon, the workers forcibly stopped them and alleged that Muslim youths were luring Hindu girls into love jihad.

Everyone told that he was a classmate but the workers did not agree and brought him to Lakhibagh police post. When the police interrogated the girls, they told that this was not a case of Love Jihad but they were all classmates and had come on an educational tour.
