Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that since the beginning of the formation of Uttarakhand state, local villagers have been fulfilling their needs in the distribution of forests and forest rights from Panchayat forests as per the Panchayat Forest Rules. The state government has also run various such schemes so that the local villagers associated with the forest panchayats can be made aware about forest conservation and promotion and can also benefit from various income generating schemes and small and cottage industries in that area. .
