Uttarakhand: Vande Bharat will run on Dehradun-Lucknow route, PM Modi inaugurated it virtually, CM expressed gratitude

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi flagged off the indigenous train Vande Bharat from the capital Doon to Lucknow through virtual medium. Vande Bharat train is decorated with flowers in the train yard. Governor, Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and key officials of Railways were present during this period.

Actually, the new Vande Bharat train has been started from Dehradun to Lucknow. Before flagging off the train, a program was organized at the railway station, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched several railway-related projects through the VC. This time, One Station One Product program was also started in this program.

Railways started this train for the first time from platform number two at Dehradun railway station. A program has been organized at the station itself to listen to the Prime Minister’s address. In which dignitaries including Governor, Gurmeet Singh, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Principal Secretary Radha Raturi, ministers, MPs, MLAs were present.

Many LEDs were installed at the railway station to hear and see the Prime Minister’s address. Vande Bharat train was prepared in the train yard. After washing the train, it was decorated with flowers. The train left at 9:30. At this time no train leaves Doon station.

To make the first journey in Vande Bharat train for Doon-Lucknow memorable, Railways has provided free tickets. Dr. Retired geologist TN Johar said that Vande is getting a chance to go to India. He will take advantage of this for religious benefit. He will go till Lucknow and then from there he will go to Ayodhya to visit Ram temple.
