State Congress spokesperson and nephew of former Chief Minister late ND Tiwari, Deepak Balutia, has also decided to leave Congress. There is talk that Deepak Balutiya is angry with the party and he may resign from Congress soon. Deepak Balutiya has also expressed his displeasure in front of the Congress High Command.

However, there is discussion in the political circles that Deepak Balutia is seeking ticket from Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar seat, but he is finding it difficult to get the ticket. Earlier, he had also staked his claim from Haldwani assembly seat in the 2022 assembly elections, but even then Congress ignored him and gave the ticket to Sumit Hridayesh in his place, due to which Deepak Balutia was very angry.
While talking to ETV Bharat, Deepak Balutia said that he has been working for the party for the last many years, but he is not being given respect in the party. He belongs to the family of former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh ND Tiwari and the development done by Tiwari cannot be forgotten. He has accused the party of neglect.
Deepak Balutia said that he has put forward his views before the party high command. At present he has denied the news of resignation from Congress. On Wednesday he will present his views before the media.
